For the Love of Yesterday
I started writing and gathering these stories when I was 17 years old. Little did I know that my story could have come to this. After struggling with heartache, dependency, and grief, this is a story that resembles redemption. Really, it’s in subtlest form. A story, I like to think, is filled with many rebirths. This book is a collection of poems, monologues, and short stories put together to share my journey of love, pain, healing, and the sun that rose and fell in between.
This book is meant to be interactive. You will find that as you explore these pages, there will be space for the reader to reflect and process the emotions and experiences they feel and remember. I would like every reader to think of this book as a poem book, journal, diary, and drawing pad. I hope that by the time you reach the end of this book, it is filled with ink and truth that makes this book just as much your story as it is mine.
